It is hard to believe that its been nearly two years since my last journal entry on Deviant Art. Some much has happened--so much time has gone by and frankly I don't know where to start! Where did I leave off? It's 2017 goddammit! Did I just end up in a creative limbo funk for the last two years? In retrospect, I honestly did. But now...now...I think I'm ready to go back into the Danger Zone, Push it to the limit and rock the Kasbah like I used to. I see most of you have been doing that. You've stayed busy, you've stayed productive and prolific. That discipline, that commitment is something I've always envied. It might be time for me to take
I assure you all I'm still alive.
I'm hoping to make a more thorough return but life keeps me preoccupied with a new job, another semester of school, the search for more money and a roller coaster of a love life. I'm hoping for some positive things to happen soon. Food and liquor donations are more than welcome.

3rd Year Speaking to 4th Graders about Writing
On Friday March 27th I traveled to Halstead Elementary School to speak with three 4th grade classes about the joys and purpose of Creative Writing and making Art for a living. This was the third year in a row I had the privilege of speaking with the school's esteemed students about the writing process and what ti takes to embrace the role of the creative individual. I talked a little about my book, but I couldn't go into any extreme details as it would simply go over their heads and it wasn't marketed to their age group. We went over the writing process, especially taking time to examine the editing and revising portion. I even wrote a small
