I don't have much to talk about or go over at the moment, so I thought I'd leave you with some things to ponder.

  • Great glaciation is the theory of the final state that our universe is heading toward. The universe has a limited supply of energy. According to this theory, when that energy finally runs out, the universe will devolve into a frozen state. Heat energy produced by the motion of the particles, heat loss, a natural law of the universe, means that eventually this particle motion will slow down and, presumably, one day everything will stop.
  • Always fear aggressive mediocrity, match by an unwavering egotistical omnipotence.
  •  Remember writers, clit lit surely will profit
  • The hasty stroke often goes astray
  • Ingenious writing should be fearless, unapologetic and risky.  That does NOT mean that it should be over the top with violence, sex and profanity.  It's the idiom, style an ideologies that should carry the weight of your words.
  • Sex is best when you treat it as a competition.
  • If you’re not happy, stop what you’re doing and do something else. Right now.
  • No one gives a shit about your religion. Whether you’re a devout fundamentalist or a staunch atheist, keep it to yourself, unless they ask politely for the sake of constructive conversation.
  • If you always believe you’re the smartest guy in the room, you’ll never learn anything.
  • Are racial stereotypes cultural constructs?

I really like what you said about writing being fearless, unapologetic and risky, yet not over the top with (what i would call) shock value. Heh, no wonder you're listening to Bowie! Also, the second last point is incredibly wise; did you quote that or think of it yourself?
